

Mercy Center Nursing unit, a long-term care facility sponsored by the Sisters of Mercy of the Mid-Atlantic Community, is committed to the care of the elderly in Personal Care and Skilled Nursing settings. About Us
The Skilled Nursing Unit of Mercy Center completes the program of care offered by the Sisters of Mercy. Licensed in 1991, this 59 bed skilled nursing unit provides compassionate, loving care to the most frail of our population. Our facility uses a multi-disciplinary approach to health-care including: Nursing, Social Services, Physical Therapy, Occupational Therapy, Speech Therapy, Pastoral Care, Nutrition Therapy.

Activities are regularly scheduled. Residents receive a schedule and there are also daily reminders on the in-house TV channel. A beauty salon is available five days a week. Laundry may be done by the staff (includes bedding) for an additional monthly charge. Free Wi-Fi. Liturgy is available six days a week. Non-Catholic services are scheduled by the Pastoral Care department monthly.
Respite Care
All of these areas work together to ensure the best possible care for our residents.
Personal Care
Licensed nursing staff is available to assist with activities of daily living and with medications.

Mercy Center provides medical transportation to appointments and maintains contact with doctors and other healthcare providers; however, it is highly recommended that a family member be present for the appointment.
